Procurement Department

The Procurement Department based at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals is one of the largest Procurement & Logistics Departments in the country and not only has national accreditation but is also award winning.


The team provides procurement and supply chain services to both Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust as well as increasingly working in collaboration with regional partners across South Yorkshire as the South Yorkshire Integrated Care System begins to develop further.


The Procurement Team takes responsibility for developing strategies to meet the procurement needs of both Trusts, and the ICS, and for delivering measurable savings from revenue expenditure in line with their formal Cost Improvement Plans.

You will be joining the Trust at an exciting time of development and be involved in supporting the development of not only Trust procurement but also at an ICS level.

We are looking for candidates with extensive procurement and contract management experience and knowledge, strong communication skills and the ability to manage and support teams to deliver procurement projects.

You will lead on service developments, provide ownership and delivery of programmes of works and identify and drive efficiencies within processes and systems.

We are looking for organised, motivated individuals who enjoy the challenges of a diverse workload.
