To sustain and grow its reputation, the University is engaged in a number of programmes which focus upon digital, physical and human capital investment. The University of York is launching a programme of transformation covering all processes relating to human resources and finance. The transformation is being enabled with ERP technology.
To maximise this transformation, we have asked key role holders to fully transfer over to the programme. This creates an opportunity for candidates to support our business as usual finance operations while the programme is delivered.

Meet the Consultants
Luis Covell
Luis leads Castlefield’s Procurement and Supply Chain Division on a National basis, overseeing a team of Consultants who cover Interim and Permanent recruitment into the Public and Private Sectors. With over 9 years’ experience recruiting into this market he has a wealth of individual industry expertise and an excellent track-record delivering ‘Senior and Executive’ appointments as well as ‘Multi hire’ campaigns within the NHS, University Sector and Local Authorities. Hugh heads up Castlefield’s Finance Division across Yorkshire and the North East, managing a team of Consultants who specialise in interim, fixed term and permanent recruitment. With close to a decade of experience in the Finance recruitment market, he has built a trusted network of clients and candidates and is known for delivering senior appointments as well as large-scale recruitment campaigns. Hugh and his team have partnered with a variety of Higher Education institutions across the region, including successful placements with the University of York previously.
