Thank you for your interest in Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) .
GOSH is an international centre of excellence in child healthcare. Since our formation in 1852, the hospital has been dedicated to children’s healthcare and to finding new and better ways to treat childhood illnesses. Our mission is to put the ‘child first and always’
We have set ourselves six ambitious programmes of work to deliver better, safer and kinder care and save and improve more lives:
We are committed to promoting diversity and inclusion amongst all our staff, stakeholders, service users and patients. We are also committed to embedding inclusion in everything that we do, but more specifically:
We know that a diverse and inclusive workforce can help us to develop new ways of thinking leading to improvement and innovation in the way we work. For us, it is vital that all colleagues are treated fairly and are enabled to reach their full potential. We are dedicated to eliminating discrimination, valuing diversity and promoting equality of opportunity, to build and sustain an inclusive environment to deliver and receive care.
We are also proud to be a Disability Confident Employer.
The Trust Estates & Facilities Division provides dedicated focus on all of our Estates and Facilities Infrastructure across the Trust. In addition to standard operational maintenance and compliance activities, we are also working alongside our Capital Project colleagues to support the build of the new Children’s Cancer Centre, which will open in 2028.
We employ a young team that can be shaped into future Estate leaders and if you are an experienced Head of Estates, with a minimum of 5 years NHS Estates experience, and you would like to use your professional skills and expertise to build a team that can make a difference at GOSH, then we would be delighted to hear from you.
