Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust

Welcome

Word from the Assistant Director

“There has never been a more exciting time to join Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust, after going through major organisational change we are looking to recruit into our new Financial Management structure to support the Trust in achieving the second year of its multiyear financial recovery plan.

As Assistant Director of Finance at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, I’m proud to be part of a Trust that truly puts patients and people at the heart of everything we do. NUH really is a brilliant place to work.

I am recruiting into three of our newly established Head of Finance (8C) roles supporting the Surgery and Associated Specialities, Medicine and Family Health Care Groups. These are critical roles, supporting the Trust to deliver our strategy to deliver outstanding health outcomes and patient and staff experience. The role is one that goes far beyond traditional duties. You’ll be empowered to lead, influence, and drive real financial and transformational change both within Care Groups, across the Trust and wider within the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a forward-thinking, inclusive finance leader who is passionate about improving healthcare, supporting innovation, driving value and developing high-performing teams. You’ll work alongside experienced and supportive Care Group Leadership Team and Senior Finance Team and play a key role in shaping the future of our Trust.

If you’re ambitious, values-driven, and ready to make a real impact — I would love to hear from you.”
