This exciting and unique opportunity has arisen to support the biggest ever healthcare investment in the local area. This large-scale programme will transform all aspects of elective and emergency care within the region and position the Trust as a leading provider in modern quality service in the West Midlands once complete.
Employing over 6,000 staff, the Trust provides Acute and Community Service provision, including A&E to the surrounding area. In addition, the Trust provides several Consultant led outreach services in the locality.

Working across the Trust and Integrated Care System, the successful applicant will spearhead the Programme to deliver a 365-day elective service across both sites. You will also outline the strategic case for full emergency provision at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
As part of the Trusts Executive management team, this post-holder will work with a high degree of autonomy, with a strong emphasis on strategic leadership and a focus on the development of business cases that are sufficiently robust to withstand Department of Health and Social Care and HM Treasury scrutiny. The ability to engage stakeholders on the journey, is a critical component to success.
