Thank you for your interest in University Hospitals Sussex.  This is an exciting time to join, the Trust.  Our new 3Ts Hospital, part of the Government’s Future Hospitals Programme, will open in 2023.  The hospital is a critical part of the Trust’s strategic vision, including delivery of its clinical strategy, representing an opportunity to improve system wide services for people across Sussex.  The Operational Management Team are proud to play huge part in the day to day running of these busy hospitals. This key position will play a significant part of our recovery plans, as well as form part of the exciting new developments as we increase capacity across the Trust.

In January 2022, we launched our Patient First, Planet First Green Plan setting out our approach to supporting the NHS to become the world’s first net zero health service.  Our Commercial Directorate will have a key role in supporting the delivery of this programme and the changes needed to reduce carbon levels across our supply chain and transform the way that we deliver healthcare.
